Course Overview
This course overviews two technologies for mobile devices: WAP and i-mode.
These technologies turn mobile phones into Internet companions.
The course guides you through
the process of creating software for WAP-enabled and i-mode enabled
devices. You'll learn about WAP, WML, WML Script, WAP SDK's, WAP browsers,
cHTML, i-mode browsers, i-Appli, XML and how to
build your own WAP and i-mode applications. Briefly covered will be
emerging features such as security, email integration and push
capabilities. The course
includes hands-on exercises to illustrate the theoretical aspects of
the lectured content.
